Anger
Anger, a feeling which
all of us experience on a daily basis. It has become the main part of our
lives. If I were to describe anger, then anger would be that feeling which
makes you hit someone or destroy something. Rage or anger is the most dangerous
emotion a man could express. An angry person is like a potential bomb, you
never know when and on whom it may blow. And it not only destroys physically
but also mentally. Today, Anger has become so prominent in our world that there
are courses on anger management for people who are very aggressive and
short-tempered. Being short-tempered, as we all know means that the person gets
angry on every small incident. But why is that anger has become so protuberant these
days? Why is it harmful for us? And how
can we overcome anger and become a peaceful being.
In today’s world the
main reason for our increased anger level is the over-exposure to aggressive
content in social media or any other entertainment sources. We not only just
see those horrific things but sub-consciously inherent those in our mind. This leads
to reduce our capability to think in rational manner and enhance the
short-temperedness. Right from the early age, we our exposed to contents, in
video games or movies, of disturbance which disrupts our peace of mind. Another
reason for more anger in people is by the food we eat. In my culture, it is
said that we are what we eat. And hence eating highly fried on fast food not
only degrades our healthy living but also affects our emotional well-being. Some
people might differ from me on this point but this is just what I believe.
Frustration
leads to anger and anger leads to aggressive behavior. But do you realize what
it costs to your body when you get angry? Some of the side effects of anger are
headaches, high blood pressure, and depression even it can cause strokes. But
moreover it causes heartbreak and worsens relationships. Its may also cause
depression. All this is a tip of the ice-berg, the in-depth effect of anger on
human can be searched and seen the adverse effect on us.
The
original nature of human being is to live peacefully not demonstrating aggressive
behaviour or show anger. Then how can we become the original us? The answer to
this lies in within us. We have to stop adopting things we see in movies or
videos. We have to maintain a healthy life and take care of us by having
healthy habits and by eating properly. We should check if we are getting mad on
little things and if so then we should try to prevent it by diverting ourselves
whenever we tend to get angry or in serious cases should visit a psychiatrist. To
lead a peaceful life should be our main motto. Anger disrupts the peace of mind
as well as soul and even ruins social relationships and creates bad effect on
the environment around us.
